Not only has rick bailey damaged Daniel Thwaites plc reputation by his appalling behaviour he has by association also implicated his in-laws, the Yerburgh family who happen to be its main shareholders

Daniel Thwaites PLC has once again failed to honour its debts, what is even more surprising bearing in mind it implicates one of UK's most prominent Hotel and Public House chains one would have thought that publication of a default notice such as this could have been avoided with a little more endeavour on their part.
The current situation has rumbled on for some time now and despite a number of emails requesting payment nothing has been forthcoming. Often in these circumstances when a small one man outfit is being outpunched by a huge organisation such as Daniel Thwaites PLC drastic action is called for if it hopes to attract the disgraced perpetrator's attention.
It is a serious matter and needs to be sorted as quickly as possible for debtor and creditor alike, especially when it impacts on ones reputation and financial wellbeing. Disappointingly, situations like this nearly always result in the termination of what might have been an otherwise good business relationship.
If this dispute is not resolved in the foreseeable future it will leave the creditor little alternative but to instigate court proceedings to recover the overdue debts including legal costs. From the creditor's viewpoint it is not a write-off able amount that's at stake. However, it likely pales into insignificance as far as Thwaites is concerned so it begs the question are they prepared to jeopardise their financial reputation in such circumstances as this or does Daniel Thwaites PLC think it is so fireproof it can afford to being disgraced as such?

Oh dear oh dear
Made a telephone booking for four adults one baby for sat evening made them aware re allergies etc I was told no problem I asked for a quiet table with room for a pram again no problem the table was booked for 8pm a little later I recieved a phone call from the staff making me aware that the kitchen closes at 8pm which in my experience is unheard of they also informed me that a disco was starting at 8 30 pm (coincidence?) In other words it was pointless us going really.

Sunday lunch oh no!
We have dined at this pub before but a few weeks ago had an awful meal. the pie was dreadful with what was the meat?! and the pastry was inedible .The vegetables were soggy & overcooked.the staff were nice. The price we paid for what we had was expensive! We wont be diniing here again.

I left Aztec Hotel at 11pm bed was too uncomfortable
Room wasn’t ready on arrival bed wasn’t made up until 5pm! The extra bed was given a single quilt inadequate for a double bed. Room was too small even though I had spoke to property twice about number of guests. Bed was uncomfortable and dangerous has sharp metal down the side. Really bad for children staying in the room.

Tired and overpriced
We paid £338 to stay here (£165 B&B and £8 parking). The bar, restaurant and courtyard are modern and inviting but as soon as you climb the stairs to the bedrooms, the cracks begin to appear (literally!). Our room was dark with only a small window and minimum lighting. The bathroom ceiling had mildew and the paint was peeling off. The sink had age lines and the internal doors were knocked and worm.

Food Poisoning at 4 star hotel.
My partner and I stayed one night at this 4 star hotel last weekend. We both had dinner in the restaurant. About midnight my partner was suddenly feeling sick and was up all night throwing up. Not the weekend away we had planned. I was Ok although I think it was because I had a cooked started and she had a selection from the chefs cold table. I did tell the reception on checkout and they said they were sorry but that was it.

Expensive and poor quality
Firstly we were not allowed to pick our own seats and were shown to a dark corner, the pub was very cold and when the meal arrived I was presented with undercooked veg and slices of turkey which had no taste at all and looked very much like the thinly sliced turkey you get in a supermarket, in fact I have had tastier turkey from a supermarket. The tastiest part of the meal were the mashed carrots. Felt it was money wasted and I will definitely not be eating here again. Don't usually write review

Never ever have a meal here!
We ordered prawn and smoked salmon cocktail, which at £18:95 seemed a little expensive. What it comprised of was a small piece of smoked salmon and about 8 baby shrimps. ( Prawns they were not and even calling them shrimps would be a stretch.) All on a bed of lettuce. The chips that came with the main course were half cooked, tasteless and difficult to swallow. The linguine had almost the equivalent of two sliced chilli peppers hidden it which completely took away the delicate flavour of the crab

Overpriced old rusty rotten hotel room for £250
Sofa bed was horrendously inadequate. huge mirror stuck above the main bed, which I was nervous of sleeping under, especially as a boy was killed near us from a large mirror falling off a wall and crushing him. woken up middle of the night by drunk guests parting in the halls, no staff to assist with the noise/behaviour. drinks very over priced, £10 for a glass of Prosecco. service at breakfast was non existent. so expensive for a grimy hotel room.

Bitter experience
It really pains me to write a bad review of this pub as I have supported this pub for over 20 years but the sourness of the landlady left an incredible bitter taste in my mouth and I will not set foot in here again. The landlady was behind the bar on arrival but did not acknowledge me or my family. On ordering food, the grumpiness with me and the staff from the landlady was noticeable. The table next to us was served before us despite ordering after us.

Regular guest but never again!
Confused that after requesting a quiet room - I am next to a noisy lift. Reception seem to think hotel is busy but rooms still available on line, restaurant and car park not at all busy. Why would they ignore a reasonable request from a regular visitor?

Well situated but otherwise poor.
Room service poor- some food undercooked. Requested a ground floor room and had this confirmed by the hotel. Arrived to be given a room on floor 3 with no option to move. Room and communal areas very dated. Various stains in room. Communication with the spa very poor. Not enough staff at breakfast causing delays and inaccuracies in orders for group. For the cost of the room I would expect a better standard. Noise from other rooms was distracting.
